Beware of fraudulent activities involving a fake Avis Fleet auction website and Facebook pages. It has been brought to our attention that criminals are using our brand to scam victims who think that they are buying vehicles from us.
Important notice: Avis Fleet will never ask you to pay for a car before you view it yourself.
These scams can be convincing because they use an address similar to ours, which shows up on Google maps, and they have made Facebook pages that resemble the Avis Fleet pages.
Although we are doing everything we can to shut down these websites and pages, we are concerned that people might unknowingly be falling victim to them.
We live in times where consumers need to be more cautious about paying for products before laying eye on them. Scammers are stepping up their game.
